Global Sports brand PUMA and world-renowned New York based label Staple have teamed up once again to take two of Puma’s beloved silhouettes and and give them the Staple treatment. This collaboration brings you fresh takes on not one, but two styles. The result is a pure street worthy capsule range and a true fusion of what the two brands stand for.
PUMA and Staple Creative Director Jeff Staple worked together to set a balance between PUMA’s sport-inspired classics and Staple’s street culture and design inspired aesthetic. Staple blessed the pack with the iconic Pigeon motif that has become synonymous with modern day sneaker hype .

The PUMA Suede x Staple pack bears a signature colour scheme of the Pigeon in Grey, Black, and White. On all three pairs, the entire heel has been “dipped” into the Pigeon Pink colour. A collaborative PUMA and Staple label also sits on the tongue.
The PUMA Blaze of Glory x Staple features a combination of all Pigeon colour schemes with a texture play of suede and mesh inspired by the concrete jungle. Lending a touch of street to PUMA’s iconic Trinomic cushioning midsole, Jeff chose a speckled print as a contrast to the upper and chose grey laces printed with the same spattered pattern.
Creative Director Jeff Staple recalls, “I miss the days when sneaker culture was all about the hunt. You might need to ask a favour from a relative in London, or hit up a homie in Tokyo in order to get grails you really needed. Times have changed in the culture and the way people get their kicks.”
In regards to the colour ways he says, “That’s why I am really excited about this 4-piece collection with PUMA. We’ve abstracted the trademark Pigeon colours over three different styles of the legendary PUMA Suede. The heels are all “dipped” in Pigeon Pink while the other predominant colour is region-specific. “Star White” for The Americas, “Frost Grey” for Europe & The Middle East, and “Pure Black” for Asia Pacific. To cap it all off, we’ve designed a classic Pigeon coloured Blaze of Glory that will be available globally at PUMA’s top accounts.
These release globally on September 17th.
